Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer developed by Playtonic Games, a studio created by the experienced developers who played a crucial role in the development of Rare's biggest games. The game's title is a blend of the protagonists names. Yooka, the first of them, is a chameleon who has an unusually long tongue, which can be used to grab onto various surfaces and cover large distances. The other one, Laylee, is a bat who can use sonic attacks. Laylee can also carry Yooka and fly with her friend for a short distance. During our adventures, we explore vast, three-dimensional locations. We need to use our protagonists unique abilities to travel around them. There are numerous challenges awaiting the players: from typical platform sequences, through logical puzzles and item collecting, to boss fights. There are also many hidden minigames in Yooka-Laylee’s world.

Similarly as the previous entries in the series, Forza Motorsport 5 allows the players to try themselves as drivers of super fast cars. There are more than 200 precisely modeled vehicles available in the game and one can use them to drive on 15 famous tracks, including Spa, Bathurst, Yas Marina and Circuit de la Sarthe. The game has a realistic driving model and control system that uses Kinect technology. What’s interesting, the developers cooperated with the team from the Top Gear TV series. It resulted in the commentary by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May being featured in the game.

The game is a classic sandbox reminiscent of the popular Minecraft, giving us complete freedom to shape the world around us. Players can meet and interact in various ways, as well as take part in a variety of adventures. The game also provides a whole range of popular brick vehicles, and hostile characters with whom we often have to fight. The entire production features a colorful visual style characteristic for the whole series.

A third-person perspective action game with survival features, inspired by the cult PS2 game Shadow of the Colossus. The title is a debut project of the independent American studio No Matter. Prey for the Gods takes place on a large island covered with ice. During the game the player assumes the role of a female hero who discovers the secret for the endless winter that rules over the land - turns out that some powerful gods are responsible for it. In order to restore the old order, she must face them. Similarly as in Shadow of the Colossus, the essence of the game consists of duels with giant enemies. In combat the player must be creative and observant – they must find weak points of the colossuses. The game also allows the player to climb on the giant bodies of the enemies. The title features many modern solutions, such as survival elements and a crafting system that allows for crafting of various weapons that are useful in combat.

Abzu offers a fluid control system which enables you to perform underwater pirouettes, flips, and gives you a chance to ride sea creatures, such as a shark. Sometimes, getting to a place requires a skillful use of available abilities or solving a logic puzzle. Yet, Abzu puts a strong emphasis on its artistic value. Therefore, the game enchants players with a riot of colors, an abundance of diverse underwater life, and amazing special effects.
