A cyberpunk platformer with adventure elements. Developed by Odd Tales, it's the company's first commercial production, developed from a free title that has won Cyberpunk Jam 2014. The action of The Last Night is set in a futuristic, open city divided into four areas of different appearance and atmosphere, which influences gameplay. You assume the role of a spy hired by private employers who give you such tasks as stealing cars or killing particular people. The city is filled with cameras and patrols, so in order to succeed, you need to sneak, avoid raising suspicion, look for alternative paths, and hack various computer networks. Chatting with NPCs is also an efficient way of getting the job done – the characters dynamically react to the player’s actions.

An original combination of an old-school isometric RPG with an adventure and a card game. It is the first product created entirely by the independent studio Deckpoint. The team is led by a skin creator for the popular FPS Counter-Strike - Jesse Kooner. The player assumes the role of a young male protagonist, who chooses gambling over routine daily work. Along with his friends, he traverses the fictional country of Arithia, participating in subsequent Ekosi tournaments - a variation on the classic Black Jack, allowing the players to affect the results with their own cards. However, Luckless Seven does not focus solely on playing a card game, for it was given the shape of an RPG, featuring an extensive storyline. Thus the player completes different assignments, talks to various characters and develops the protagonist as well. Also, interacting with the team members and making choices which affect their future is a significant part of the game.

A sandbox space simulator developed by a lone designer, Damiano Vitulli. The action of NovaVoyager is set in a distant future, when humanity colonizes new planetary systems. Starting out, we receive our first ship and then decide whether we want to pursue a career of a mercenary, a pirate, a pioneer, or a miner. We can also combine all of these to create our own path. The fun takes place in a galaxy that teems with life, recreated in 1:1 scale on the basis of genuine astronomical data. The universe is densely filled with space bases and colonies where there is a myriad of varied quests and business opportunities. The game is characterized by impressive realism of the behavior of our ship, which can be controlled from the cockpit or in the third-person perspective. The extensive controls system also allows for manipulation of numerous onboard systems.

Tale of Ronin

A turn-based RPG created by Dead Mage Studio. Tale of Ronin features a story set in Japan’s feudal period. As the title suggests, player assumes the role of a ronin, i.e. a masterless samurai, who gets a chance to improve his lot. To make that happen, however, he must embark on a dangerous journey and experience both good and bad sides of the turbulent period of history, such as friendship, betrayal, war and honor. The protagonist starts his journey as a lone traveler, but in time he may be joined by two other companions. Together they visit various locations, make difficult decisions and, most of all, fight with enemies encountered on the way. The most interesting feature in Tale of Ronin is the so-called Sekai System, which is a kind of permadeath mechanic. If the protagonist gets killed in battle or commits seppuku to reclaim lost honor, the player becomes another ronin. In such case, however, you don’t have to start completely from scratch. Instead, you visit a world shaped by the actions of your previous hero.
